Balance & Harmony: Jioufen, Taiwan
If you’re reading, you probably care about my feelings and things. You probably care just a bit about my life to be involved enough to read so much. I value you. I value your time. I value your attention. It’s why I write with such commitment. For me, it’s to figure things out and remember my life, for you, it’s to connect and share that maybe you will be a part too. Of course there is always the chance you just find me entertaining.
Life is better sharing I’ve found out. I value that more than ever before.
Since I’ve been feeling my emotions these last few months, it’s left me admiring what I’ve accomplished. I’ll be honest, it made me a bit sad, but slowly, I can feel it turning into big smiles, and even slower still, I’m looking forward to making new moves.
I want a life filled with those moments which I’ve been making meaning I’ve got a million more to come.
The one thing about time, it adjusts our feelings as it moves on. We even out. I can feel things tipping from sadness to happiness. I can feel a balance, or a harmony as I’ve heard it better thought of, between my past and my future. That is all finally bringing me back to the present.
Don’t worry about me, I’m a lover, and a fighter. I’m here to be both. Oddly enough, fighting is not the uniform to wear right now, but love. Love will find its way to bridge my worlds. Love will create horizons I’ve never dreamed before.

Apprently the village of Jioufen is where Hayao Miyazaki got his ideas for spirited away which he denies, but I don’t think the people care. Everyone still sells and buys trinkets from the film and love feeling the vibes. This place would be very cool at night. On another adventure I’ll catch those vibes.

Um, wow. All in all, this place, even with the tourists is pretty cool. The stalls aren’t all stupid tourist things. A lot of things are cute and charming still. And it sure is pretty.
